Some great shots I came across of the Genius designer Isabel Marant. If you don't know about her and and are unfamiliar with her work your missing out on one of the best.

Countdown to Hong Kong

So, after a couple of weeks working my ass off, I decided to book a last minute flight to Hong Kong to do some buying, to China for a couple of days, then over to the hometown, Philippines (Yay) for 10 days. Cant believe I am actually getting on a plane tomorrow morning! Hong Kong is a great place to gain inspiration and pick up some great vintage and costume finds that have come from all over the world. Recently been trying to build up a collection of amazing items for my styling rail and getting away from home is the best place to loose yourself in your own imagination.

Since I am heading there I am going to give you a taste of one my favourite style blogs from over there. This lovely lady has lived in both UK and Australia but currently resides in Hong Kong blogging about DIY subjects and great advice for fashion enthusiasts from the west coming over to Hong Kong.

Enjoy...see you in Hong Kong peoples ;)

One of my favourite posts from her...how ladders have become the new shelf. I WANT A LADDER

..Bet you want a ladder now too huh!?

Silk Screen Stunner

By creating elegant and alluring, one of a kind prints with free hand silk-screen techniques Draw in Light has quickly become the 'one to watch' brand in my Black Book.

'Specialising in elegant, minimal, raw, smart yet understated shapes for women'

The cuts, colour and mix of different fabrics blend so gracefully together that the pieces could work with no need to accessorise. The simplicity and minimalist edge is what I relish about this brand.
Below are some delectable looks from their SS12 and AW12 collections. Get inspired.

Pro Proenza

The dynamic duo that make up Prozena Schouler just keep getting better winning CFDA 2011 Womenswear Designer of the Year Award. I have always been a big fan
especially with the FABtabulous colours they
integrated into the Spring 2012 collection. Silhouettes of 1940's
and 70's shapes came through with gorgeous floral prints in bright colours.
Right up my street. The following are SWEEEEEEET!

.....Everything is pretty much over £300. Great...  :(   Start saving ma pennies.

Yes Moxham!

Inspired by 'Egyptian mythology and the repetition of striking motifs ' Elizabeth Moxham, creator of Moxham has created some awesome pieces that I cant wait to get my hands on.
In awe of the Leather Body Armour pieces as shown below in my little collage of favourite pieces.
Constructed pieces for Day or Night, she combines leather and brass in a way that compliments a simple look, adding that 'hardcore' edge with elegance and simplicity. I am also in admiration of her simple bright clutches and you know what, her logo is pretty cool. Jealous.

Best Notepad

This little gem is going to be a lifesaver! A notepad consisting of fashion+diary+dictionary is like nothing you have ever seen before! It is an absolute must for creatives. Designed as a fashion diary and reference manual, it's perfect for jotting down your design inspirations and ideas. The fashionary sketchbook is equipped with things like measuring tools, an index of 1300 brands, and 400 fashion templates for you to sketch with. If you prefer to make your own, the templates are barely visible so they can easily be drawn over. I can't believe I'm finding out about Fashionary only now! All those hours spent on trying to teach myself how to draw a mannequin are now saved!

Too excited about getting it in the post its going to feel like Christmas all over again!

Neil Barrett FW12

Super! Its all just so SUPER! The cuts, the textures, the length the colours.

And my pick of the bunch....

Bromance

'Dress up like a boy' is always going to be one of my favourite looks. The older I become, the more I can see my personal style becoming more 'practical' (like mums always say....oh gad). With so much running around, tube riding, glueing, sticking, studding, and wiping glue and paint on my clothes by accident,  I would rather my 'boy clothes', jeans, oversize shirts, oversize hoodies and everything else in that category become worn and torn as it just gives it that depleted and overused look which is, lets face it just cooler with the 'boy' style. I mean you would never wear a worn out vintage Chanel dress with some scuffed Jimmy Choos. But to make sure you don't look like butch lesbian, always try and add feminine touches such as simple jewellery, a flick of liquid eyeliner and some ankle boot heels.
